Honestly, the most advantage when you do outsourcing is you can expect to save your time, money, and effort because the external organization will be the one to pick up those services for you. Indeed, defining cost-effective about offshore outsourcing is merely depends on how you utilized the resources and maximized the services.

Outsoucing overseas is a very short term and un-sustainable approach to reducing costs. It reduces our own manufacturing and service capabilities to the point that when the cost increases it will be difficult to bring it back as we will lack the skills and equipment to do it again easily!
Meanwhile who pays the wages of the people made unemployed by the outsourcing, who replaces the tax revenue of these people and the companies they used to work for?
